JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – As the country grapples with a nationwide nursing shortage, an Eastern Carolina hospital is hoping to address their needs through a job fair Wednesday.

The nursing job fair will be at Onslow Memorial Hospital and is open to all registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants.

All eligible applicants can get up to a $15,000 signing bonus and will still qualify for annual bonuses offered by the hospital.

Attendees are not required to register for this event. However, they are encouraged to dress professionally and bring copies of their resumes.

The event is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 317 Western Boulevard.
