HAVELOCK, N.C. (WITN) – A man is being held without bond after his arrest on two child sex charges.
Havelock police say Cornelius “CJ” Farris-Cobb was arrested last week in Beaufort County by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
The 29-year-old Washington man is charged with felony statutory rape and felony indecent liberties with a minor.
Police said their investigation began in March into reports of sexual misconduct with a child.
Farris-Cobb was arrested and placed in the Craven County jail.
